There appears to be no link to any statement that President Elect Trump said about "abolishing the EPA" -- of course, reasonable people are fully aware that a President can't just abolish an agency established by Law.
Live by the Pen, die by the Pen .... Obama should have followed the Laws we have AND worked with Congress on new Law, instead of writing Memos & Executive Orders.
The "Clean Power Plan" will be the 1st to go - it's in the Courts now, lawsuits by 27 States. The EPA never had the Authority for what Congress (2009 Dem House & Senate) refused to pass. Good Ridance to these Autocrat Paper-Pushers who think they are above the Law.
How many cities have lead pipes for their water systems? How has the EPA begin requiring their replacement? The EPA is full of crap... the EPA is liberal agenda driving organization that use rules and regulations for the benefit of liberals and not safety... Merry Christmas...
I have a relative that has dedicated their life to keeping our food safe and pesticide free. They said if Trump won, they would leave and so will many others. Trump has already said he will close the EPA so folks, I hope you know what you will be eating in the future.
Whatever job your relative is walking away from, somebody out there would be happy to move into their place. And if the EPA were to close, there is likely something similar in the works that might be better. Remember: Draining the swamp!
This is what I don't get. Trump says he's 'for the people' and yet he wants to get rid of the EPA which is one of the agency that protects the average American the most?!?!? I mean you have to ask yourself who would want the EPA gone other than big businesses and corporations? You know the people who pollute the enviroment the most and would LOVE for the EPA to be gone and to stop having their pesky regulations preventing them from messing up the enviroment as much as they want.
The rich don't give a crap about the EPA because they all live in nice areas away from major pollution, but for other Americans this is going to be bad and yet Donald Trump who constantly said he was a 'man of the people' and that he would 'fight for them' he's already going to take away something that will affect MILLIONS of Americans?!!!?!?! Yeah 4 EFFING YEARS of this man folks. Can't wait. >_>
I really hope a major industrial business opens up near where you live and starts polluting like crazy and then lets see if you won't change your tune then.

Yea, I'd love the EPA to go away. Why do we need an agency that does damage to the environment, then hold NOBODY accountable for it?
