I joined the Republican Party because I believe in free markets, fiscal responsibility, and a peace through strength foreign policy. I always believed the GOP was the party that believed in the principles that made America great.
Tonight, a Republican won the white house for the first time in 12 years. Only, this Republican is not a Republican. He's a socialist who hates freedom, hates the constitution, and he hates America. He doesn't believe in free markets, he discussed TRILLIONS in new spending in his victory speech, and he clearly doesn't believe in the constitution.
Unfortunately, the Republican Party has been hijacked by a minority of racist simpletons who don't care about free market economics, so long as all Mexicans are deported and all trade deals are ended. I didn't think there were enough trailer parks in this great nation to elect a demagogue as President. Donald Trump is white trash with money, look at his trashy family. This is a huge embarrassment. Donald Trump will be the dumbest President in U.S. history. He is also the biggest criminal, con-artist, and and pervert ever elected to this office. Many of my fellow Republicans betrayed me by nominating and supporting this man. I proudly cast my ballot for Ted Cruz in the primary and I wrote his name in again in this general election.
I will be leaving the Republican Party. The party has moved too far left and has ignored the cultural values it once stood for. I will be registering as libertarian and while I'll probably support Republicans at the state level, I don't see myself voting Republican in 2020 or 2024 with Trump or Pence on the ticket.
Trump supporters are not racists.

Peace through strength in foreign policy? Yea lets get involved in other nations and force them to run their country like America wants them too. Nothing says peace like force and aggression.

You're an idiot. Trump is not a socialist, and securing borders - something that was left to neglect a good 30-sum years ago - does NOT make him a racist! Living in the US is not a right or self-entitlement, and those who are here illegally are still breaking the law, and that is NOT okay! People are bothered because finally someone has the ballz to take responsibility for a problem that's been out of hand for decades.
