.... "beer cartel", have you? Exactly

As i listen to all this news slowly trickling out about weed legalization in various states i can't help but think "it's 2016 and a freakin PLANT is still illegal? so much greed out there"

I mean, seriously

In a perfect world they would just legalize ALL drugs and substances like how it used to be in the not-to-distant past. I've read in history books that you used to literally be able to buy anything over the counter.... cocaine, ecstacy, heroin, weed, etc at a typical CONVENIENCE STORE

It's been a long time since "beer cartel" was even a thing, since the 1930's i think. It's a fact that simply legalizing X substance sends organized drug-crime the way of the dinosaur. Weed is MUCH safer than say, alcohol, which kills a ton of people every year. I don't know what the "hold up" is?

I think the point is that companies like Anheuser Busch don't want competition from marijuana eating into their market share of the intoxication business. Almost every time marijuana legalization has been on a ballot, the money from "NO" ad's has come from police unions and alcohol companies
