Do you know how many conservatives say Obama and liberals hate America? You're gonna act like liberals are the only ones with a stupid, ****ty, close minded faction of human trash?

And I did say faction. Plenty of liberals, while rightfully disappointed in this election, do not condone the protests. In the same way, plenty of conservatives do not feel liberals hate America. Or plenty of Bernie voters not collecting welfare. Or plenty of Trump voters having no issues with minorities.

The only stupid people are the ones who buy the absurd generalizations of various political classes put forth by the media. Those people are REALLY ****ing stupid. Probably more stupid (or at least equally so) than the liberals acting like democracy only counts if you like the outcome. And again, most liberals I know are just really not happy about the election. They're not demanding a new one or refusing to accept it. But that's not what's on the news... so here we are.

I don't think his supporters were racists or bigots. Some were, many more were not.

The left are full of hypocrites and they are going through the steps of mourning right now.

The left told us the Trump rallys were violent, but we knew it was the protesters instigating things and we find out that its true.

The left told us if Trump lost there would be violent protests.....ok.

The left is supposed to be liberal, but in todays world acts completely differently. Intolerence rules in these protests and on college campuses nationwide. These kids are being taught to shut down the discussions, retreat, dont listen, dont compromise, its really maddening. The Trump vote in many ways is a revolt on that behavior.

I'm an independent with friends and family that are both liberal and conservative. The liberals will treat anyone who voted for Trump with utter contempt while the conservatives don't really care. They might question your choice for Hillary in a respectful way but they won't act like you've just voted for the antichrist!

We see mass protests across the country that are full of hate towards the President elect and his supporters that are turning into riots more than protests.

We just had a major election in this country and instead of respecting the results, many liberals are vowing to oppose and fight and say "not my president" instead of doing what President Obama and Hillary Clinton themselves have urged us to do which is to come together as a country now that the election is over.

Amazing to me how a party and ideology that prides itself on tolerance and acceptance is so INtolerant towards anyone with different views.
Liberals have lost the art of debate and discussion. They ban alternative points of view at colleges. They harass and insult those who disagree with them. They attack anyone who dares to question their views.

That is why Liberals lost this election. Trump didn't win....Leftists lost.

Did they really think Americans would take being called racist, stupid, deplorable, just because they disagree? The voting booth was our answer to these attacks. Dems, Repubs, Independents, everyone who was no longer allowed to talk and whose opinions were being shouted down.

You lost the election Liberals. You better learn to listen, be willing to let others speak, be willing to defend you position without insults or you will keep losing.

Oh, the hypocrisy.
I'll guarantee you that if I were walking down a dark street at night, I'd feel one whole hell of a lot safer if I ran into a 'radical teabagger' than if I ran into the folks I see on the anti-Trump 'protest' videos.

Correct. Racists and bigots, by and large, did support Trump. That does not mean that all Trump supporters are racists and bigots. It's not difficult to understand the distinction between the two concepts.

Yes, I see a woman from my church on FB referring to Melania Trump as "First *****". (This is not someone who has any business attaching that term to someone ELSE, by the way--I suspect she's on the sauce again.) Is that at all necessary? I did not like the nasty things that were said about Michelle Obama, either. That is just repulsive behavior.

We're intolerant toward the intolerant. You guys ask for it, don't cry when you're called out on it.

Umm... how?

Like, I get that you're reducing this down to "I disagree with fascism and I disagree with liberalism, so they must be the same" which is, frankly stupid, but I get what you're doing. But really, reading a definition won't explain this. Depending on where you get the definition, the two hardly seem related. The Oxford dictionary describes it as an authoritarian nationalistic and right wing style of government. Are liberals nationalistic or are they globalists? Merriam Webster's reduces it to highly authoritarian, but it describes an authoritarianism that goes WAY beyond what mainstream Democratic politicians would dare support, even if they'd like to implement those policies.

Most scholars place it on the right. Personally, I find the distinction arbitrary, but if depends on we describe the right. Both sides have idealistic ideals on their economic systems and frankly, it's hard to determine WHAT the actual differences are (bare in mind, I use left/right as a purely economic spectrum; social freedoms are a separate, but connected, thing that should be viewed on a different spectrum from left/right). Leftists could be seen as socialists, but ultimately, I'd say they're collectivists. This doesn't' mean one thing. Libertarian socialists believe that individuals should voluntarily agree to reduce or eliminate class hierarchy to collective and socialize industry. Stalinists believe the state should assign jobs based on what the state needs and have heavy income tax that will be distributed in a way that is determined to be most fair by the government that lacks representation. Both are on the left. Both can be seen as collectivist. To say they're the same is not only intellectually dishonest... it's kinda stupid.

Fascism is harder to place as fascists say that both Communists (collectivists) and liberals (capitalists; in a modern context, many don't except these as being correlated, but prior to relatively recently, they were very much connected) were wrong. Generally, the state controls the economy, similar to Communism, but it uses a capitalist model in regards to it's efficiency. There is also class systems, which communism seeks to eliminate, but unlike in a liberal capitalist system, class barriers and relations are managed by the state. At this point, it's hard to actually define what these things mean. Ultimately, I'd actually place fascism as being center right as it's hardly collectivist. It is however rigidly authoritarian.

Point is, you're making the issues too simple to make an easy to understand political message, either for yourself or others.

Right now, there are some from the liberal side rioting and actually being intolerant of others with a different view, other than theirs. Don't cry when when you're called out on it.
