Oh how they forget what happens when the shoe is on the other foot. It must suck to be him right now.
He created a situation that left his party in disarray and the regressive party.

He is a multi-millionaire who is retiring in two months to Las Vegas. I doubt it sucks to be him.

There should be no filibuster, anyway. Just as there should no longer be an Electoral College. A simple majority of votes should decide who wins and what passes.

You'd think, if life was simple and you only think simply. But think deeper and tyranny of the majority becomes too big an issue to overcome.

Trump should nominate Ted Cruz. Liberals heads would explode.

What you think "should" That's the problem..... People are too ignorant to realize the reason for both filibuster and the electoral college.

We are made of sovereign States, with borders. It would be different if there were no states and this was just Merica and not the United states of America.

Mob rule creates revolutions and a perspective to bully others. Bet you don't understand the 2/3rds rule, either.

It should be someone who didn't graduate for an Ivy league college or law school, doesn't live in NYC or its suburbs and is a Protestant.

I find it hard to believe there are no Protestants on the Court! Aside from being unrepresentative of the US, this leaves out a perspective that is missing from the Catholic and Jewish cultures: dispersed authority; plain, simple and decentralized doctrinal interpretation. This perspective should have a voice on the Court.

The Ivy League is greatly over represented. What about Stanford, U of Chicago, Duke, etc. Their are skeins of universities within a whisker of Ivy League status. Some are superior.

Having 5 or 7 or whatever Justices living within 20 miles of Manhattan is not right. Their views on the law and Constitution are every bit as provincial as those from Atlanta or St. Louis or Peoria.

No doubt Trump will nominate "original intent" candidates who will try to interpret the law the way it was written rather that the way they wished it were.

Probably Ted Cruz or Mike Lee.

No.

The last...I don't know how many Justices by a percentage have been put in their positions via Affirmative Action or political correctness. It makes me so g-d damned angry...ENOUGH!
