Just what I was going to say. I'm certainly no fan of Trump, but the thought of Pence being in charge is far worse. It's bad enough that he's VP.

Indeed. We should all move on and give Trump the same respect and cooperation that the Republicans gave Obama.

It's not about that, does anyone really believe the Reps are happy, Ryan and McConnell didn't exactly look happy or thrilled last week in the meeting. It's about the fact that neither of the parties can stand him. It would seem unlikely that the Republicans, who are still finding themselves as a party, as are the Dems would want him to be the face of the party going into 2020 and what he does to the party on the table, particularly when a more formidable candidate will be on the table.

If you notice, incumbents won for essentially all of Congress, so neither Reps or Dems came out in force for this election.

Of course the Republicans are playing nice now, if they continued with their anti-Trump sentiment it wouldn't sit well with him and his supporters and they can let the Dems do that.

Having Pence as is VP should be plenty of motivation to not want to impeach him.

Why not? Ever see Moore's documentary Roger & Me ? from 1989 where he documents how GM announces the layoffs of thousands of Flint, Michigan auto workers, whose jobs will go to cheaper labor in Mexico even though GM makes this announcement while the company is achieving record profits.

Moore being from the rust belt city of Flint himself , was able to tap into the Economic despair in states like PA, MI, WI & OH which were Obama states that Hillary should have won easily.
As a Floridian it finally feels nice for my state not being blamed for the Election results !

You may not like Moore's political views but he has been talking about this issue for over a Quarter of a century now which started during Reagan's term.

I agree with Moore though. The Donald has a dictator mentality and may resign when he sees that he doesn't have full control and he can't have it his way.
Of course the worst part of this scenario is that we wind up with Pence.
