That would be the party whose standard bearer supported the current POTUS. Not so calm any more.

The Green Party with Jill Stein in charge? That Green Party? Get serious.

Isn't she still asking for recounts?

This is a few months old but it's not a party that will split the (D)'s. It's ideas that will split the (D)'s. As long as the (D)'s insist on ignoring what the people want more and more are going to abandon them. They may not vote (G) and they most certainly will not vote (R) but the votes are not going to be there for the (D)'s.

Doubtful. The "Greeners" are just about as fanatical as the Democrats. Have you forgotten "Green Peace?"

The Democrat Party has a long history of violence since it's founding, including the KKK, the "Black Panthers", "Occupy Wall Street", "Black Lives Matter", etc. The "Greeners" have much in common with them.

Yep. Liberals will not become Republicans, nor will they go to Jill Steins grift, otherwise known as the Green Party. Liberals simply won't vote.

I respect the greens for their ideals even if they don't have practical solutions for solving our problems. But the Greens aren't the cut throats and sell outs that the neo progs are, so they'll never be allowed to have any say in what the democrat party does.

It's becasue they have no money.

Why do you think we have only two major parties, both of whom regularly struggle to have an approval rating of even 50%? They have money.

The Green party, if I'm not mistaken, only recently became recognized by all 50 states. It has less recognition and support than the Libertarian party, and most people could probably name a least a couple of policy positions of Gary Johnson. The knowledge of Jill Stein usually comes down to her pseudo science views about wifi.

It would be lovely, to be clear, if there were more than two options. But in order to even sort of allow that to happen, we'd have to regulate how political campaigns are financed, limit political party power, and generally change election culture and coverage.

And that is exactly what it is. She pops up every 4 years like a bad mushroom.
