He said, "To all those who are, after Tuesday's election, very nervous and filled with anxiety as we've spoken to, you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago," Emanuel said. "Chicago will always be a sanctuary city." Quotes mean verbatim. When you paraphrase something, don't put it in quotes.

But aren't many of those victims black? He knows they will continue supporting the Democrat party; therefore, they are irrelevant. He will put his energy into illegals hoping maybe one day he can get their votes. Most blacks will take their orders from the Dem leadership regardless.

Wasn't Rahm Emanuel a star in the Obama Administration? I thought he left to manage Chicago properly and these years later crime is spiralling out of control and the quality of live is going into the gutter.
