I really hope the funding gets cut, because this is just ridiculous!

Also,History teachers at an elite New York City high school reportedly allowed their students to skip class Tuesday to join protests at the Trump Tower despite objections from fellow educators.

Don't be partial - cut ALL public funding of education. Let people pay for the education they want - not what some bureaucrat or ivory tower academician decides you should have.

Wow, so you want to return to the days when only the wealthy could afford an education? When the majority of the population in the world couldn't read or write? This sounds like an America you would like to see in the future?

Welcome to Trump's utopia, folks. If you are not wealthy, you will have no education and no healthcare. Like the OP says, suck it up!

How does it feel to have been 100% wrong about Trump becoming president? He won.

Sounds like you are making attempt at maintaining that record.

How many people could we educate rather than spending $100 billion on illegals?

Sounds like you prefer illegals over americans..

The schools should go back to where they were 25 yeas ago, with less federal regulations but with less federal funding and more of it coming from the cities, counties, and state.

Trumplings are now feeling threatened by HS/college kids.

Hope they're not turning chicken so soon after their "big" win.

No they are getting tired of the temper tantrums and cannot figure out where so many of us screwed up with this generation, and getting rid of the safe place crap to cry over everything is seen as a move toward the start of fixing it.

I agree. The kids and teachers are not valuing education, so maybe when it is funded less, they will wise up.
