Seems to me like Silicon Valley companies have been the government's favored industry during the Obama administration. Elon Musk gets billion of dollars in tax money to crash rockets into the sea. There's the "Twitter Tax Break" and the fact that these companies are able to get H1B Visa workers with 10+ years of experience served to them on a silver platter instead of hiring Americans. There's a perception that these companies are creating the future and that their CEOs are great philanthropists. Nevermind the fact that working for these companies is like getting accepting into an exclusive sorority, and that age discrimination is rampant (good luck getting hired if you're over the age of 30). The CEOs may take a salary of $0.00/yr and pretend it's because they're not greedy, but really it's because they make all their money through gains in the company's stock, on which they pay a 15% tax. Their companies make no profits and what they produce barely if at all increases our standard of living.

Is the Silicon Valley gravy train ending now that we're entering the age of Trump? Money is already pouring out of tech stocks and into financials and the energy sector. That is probably a good thing, in my opinion.

I hope so. Silicon valley seems like it's mostly progressive left un-American globalist.

Funny. When I start typing in "Elon Musk con artist" to Google, the search engine does not auto-complete my query, even though there is plenty on the internet about that subject. All these Silicon Valley companies try to silence people they don't like. Remember how during the election Reddit tried to hide the fact that its Donald Trump subforum was one of the most popular ones. Or how Milo Yianoppolus was banned from Twitter.
