Not only did Trump lie about the balance of trade with Canada, he boasted about lying on Wednesday and Thursday.
"Like other countries, Canada has had to come to terms with a world in which the US is an unreliable ally on the environment, a skeptic of the United Nations and NATO, an aggrieved trading partner and a faithless friend."
Trump's reaction proves he has no indepth knowledge about most of the topics he spouts off about but more importantly, he does not CARE if what he says from one moment/meeting to the next is accurate...
Having a POTUS who lies by whim just reduces anything he says to "faux news"
He doesn't seem to understand that since he only lives from tweet to tweet and his followers certainly don't seem to really care if anything he says might or might not be accurate that accomplishes two things:
1--It certainly makes anyone with a concern for accuracy/truth--allies or enemies--distrustful of anything that rolls out of Trump's mouth even more than any other politician they deal with
Putin himself lies but he stays on point about his agenda and has consistency...not Trump
2--it certainly frays on the bonds of trust that have been created and depended upon over past decades of working with the American government
3--Putin loves having Trump self-destruct the office of POTUS---
By having Trump play up his innate gamesmanship and show he is a dillatant playing at being president with no regard for the truth and only hubris guiding his decision making he has become America's own worst enemy
Looks like the Trump Corporation received their subpoena from Mueller at the end of February. The POTUS has started with the crazy actions, the lies getting worse after his lawyers told him. His own staff at the WH is lying everyday from behind the podium. While the State Dept. and its ambassadors are trying its best to sound off for our standing in the world.
To the fact that he out right lied to an allied country. POTUS having problems from those he has picked and the list of those who want any part of his administration is getting smaller.
POTUS is ruining the reputation of the USA across the world.
