Nutty Don is all yours
And yet you voted for Hillary, who has a huge "truth problem". How sad that you don't see the irony in that. It's best that you work on ridding yourself of TDS.

Folks? The "Nutty Don" thing? It should be beneath you. Seriously. In my opinion this sort of thing is childish. I voted against him, and think...poorly of him. But you dont have conversations by doing this. Its President Trump. You could argue its President-elect, whatever. But thats how it is.

Just as when many of the folks here called our prior president childish names, doesn't mean we should. Be better then this.

A statement of fact is not uncivil. It may be an inconvenient truth, but it is not uncivil.

Respectful of whom - a LIAR??? Trump disrespects YOU and every American when he LIES.

Every time he lies he is insulting your intelligence, do you not know that?

He has operated under this premise for the past 18 months and will continue to do so throughout his term, to-wit:
"The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." Winston Churchill
Enjoy the lies, everyone - Trump clearly believes you are not worthy of the truth.

There are two different plants involved. Trump's tweet refers to a Lincoln SUV plant remaining in Kentucky. That has been confirmed by Ford.

The Snopes article is talking about full sized trucks. Production was moved from Mexico to Ohio in 2015.

Want to retract your accusation of lying?

No, that is incorrect. There was never a PLANT involved. And no loss of jobs were involved, per the Union.

WaPo discussed this tonight:
Quote:
Ford has never announced plans to move to Mexico either its Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, which produces the Lincoln Navigator, or the Louisville Assembly Plant, which produces the Lincoln MKC and the Ford Escape.

In a statement on Thursday night, following Trump's tweet, the company said it had told Trump it would cancel a plan to shift production of a single model

— the MKC — from Kentucky to Mexico. The company last year indicated it would be moving MKC production out of Louisville, though it did not announce where it was going.

At the time, union leaders said the shift would not cost any jobs in Kentucky, because Escape production would replace lost MKC production.

Typical Trump lie. He had nothing to do with saving a plant or jobs. Nothing.

Some things will never change with this liar - he just keeps selling the snake oil. It's gonna be a long four years.

Keeping the MKC in KY and keeping the other models there will not protect jobs?

From your link:

'Today, we confirmed with the President-elect that our small Lincoln utility vehicle made at the Louisville Assembly Plant will stay in Kentucky,' the company said in a statement."

"In a follow-up email exchange, a Ford spokeswoman confirmed that the MKC production had been slated to move to Mexico."

Tweet from from KY Gov. Matt Bevin:

Governor Matt Bevin ✔ @GovMattBevin
2 days ago, @realDonaldTrump told me he was working w/ @Ford to keep smaller vehicle production in KY & in USA..Tonight they delivered...TY!
