Replacing the head of intelligence agencies with your guy who ran a alt right newspaper. Telling them they will be called when they are needed.

Dropped the top military person in the US - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Makes absolutely no sense.

It makes perfect sense when you're the smartest guy around and know more than the generals.

I honestly cannot imagine the conversation where this was put up as a good idea.

It appears that Trump reshuffled the National Security Council simply because he could not handle the amount of information being presented.

He has removed the CIA from these meeting and replaced them with Bannon? And the claim is that because he has 7 whole years in the Navy - that means he has the experience needed to advise the president on National Security?

This does not bode well for US security. I'm sure US enemies around the world are seeing an opportunity.

This administration just got seriously scary. Bannon shouldn't even be allowed on a White House tour let alone in such high level meetings.

Cronyism, yes.

Again, when has ANY President NOT done this?

To even bring it up only shows the HYPOCRISY of those complaining.

Do the names Bobby Kennedy or Billy Dale ring a bell?

This is a game changer, no doubt about it.

Bannon is now in position to achieve his clearly stated goal to destroy the state. "I want to bring everything crashing down."

Steve Bannon, Trump

We now have a president who openly violates our Constitution, a Congressional majority unwilling to uphold the Constitution, and a man running the NSC who warns the press to shut up while he works to bring it all crashing down.

If the courts fold, it's over, folks.

Best read - Wall Street Journal, but behind a paywall.

Lastly came across this while info gathering - conversation with Bannon on 11/12/13, reported on 8/22/16.

Bannon apparently didn't recall the conversation when asked about it after being named to Trump's campaign.

Reminds me of "Hope and change"

I will "FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA"

Did ANYONE NOW attacking Trump on this complain when Obama said it?

I doubt it!
