That's fine, I respect that this is your opinion. You obviously think that with the progressives cut off at the top, that America will improve. If this is the case in four years time then that's fine to, but if not Republicans could have a problem. If things go wrong it will be much harder to blame the liberals by then.

If you go back to the beginning of this country, and if you can find a decade that has not evolved or moved more progressively compared to the decades prior, as a general rule, most certainly including today vs not too long ago, I'll show you someone who does not know his history or what progress really means...

Essentially, this is a progressive country, regardless who becomes POTUS, but some Presidents do slow that progress more than others! Either way, please don't give Trump credit for the better shape and momentum that Obama is leaving for America, very much unlike Bush left for Obama. Please!

Also don't confuse the ups and downs of the stock market with the health of the economy. Trump hasn't even taken office yet, nor implemented ANYTHING in the way of change or policy, and nobody really knows what that's going to look like.

What business (the stock market) likes is certainty, and now the election is over, we know who will be our next POTUS. What we DON'T know is what he will do or what he can do, but of course as long as there is no real fear that business will be kept from doing business as usual, the private sector is satisfied. The stock market and the economy went up rather than down with Obama too! Considerably! And these heights in the markets being met now are heights previously set during Obama's terms.

Let's not twist these facts too much for ideological purposes, shall we?

It is Thanksgiving after all!

May it be a good one for as many Americans as possible!
