My concern is that the left is disarming the word "racist". It used to have real meaning. If someone was labeled a racist, they became a pariah to civilized society. These days, it gets thrown around so loosely it has lost all of it's punch.
Conservative: "Blah blah blah Kenyan Muslim Hussein Obama GO BACK TO KENYA, BLACK BOY!!!"
Liberal: "That's racist"
Conservative: "RACE CARD! RACE CARD!"
Your post is a micro-aggression....I need a safe space to color, play with play-doh, have a nice cry all while drinking a hot cup of cocoa.
There's a severe lack of creativity going on. Safe space! Trigger! Snowflake! You'd think people could come up with some new and interesting ways of denigrating others. If people put even half as much effort into trying to improve the world, we'd have some semblance of peace. But it's much easier to just keep jabbing away until we're all just hateful and miserable. Is anyone really and truly happy? It sure doesn't seem like it.

Yep, racist to them means anything that counters their world view. SO 'racist' doesn't actually have a meaning any more except disagreement with any of the Leftist slogans they were taught in Ivy college.

You mean like how "anti-American" means "anything that counters a Republican's religious and political beliefs"?

Because it long has been maybe always was racist itself. It only applied to one group. Then people also started to realize that groups differ and aren't necessarily compatible or interchangeable and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
To mention just one common example: Woe to the man or woman who even implies that what a right-winger is saying is racist (let alone, calls a right-winger an outright racist!) - because as we all know, being called a racist is much worse than, uh, being on the receiving end of racism.
Realize that branding someone a racist is one of the most awful social labels you can put on someone. Racist lose their job and are drummed out of their careers. They are considered hopelessly belong rehabilitation and it is considered fair game to restrict them from even fundamental rights. You become a target for physical harm and that extends to the rest of your family as well.
There are a few worse labels, like pedophile, but even most forms of being a felon are ultimately at higher social standing than a racist.
Being on the receiving end of racism is awful, but the long term social consequences are far more extreme for being publicly branded a racist.
(Edit: Of course, the more racist is used casually to try to social shame people just for differences of political opinion having nothing to do with racism, the more the word loses its social impact.)

Just like how the N word is meaningless.
Teens/young adults of all races/socio-economic classes have adopted it from rap/prison culture.

I do find it amusing that so many posters here are perpetually outraged, at others that they view as..... perpetually outraged.
