I was very disappointed in this whole election cycle with the Democrats.
I do believe there was "something" there that pushed Sanders aside. I won't buy into everything or use the word rigged as if I have solid and undeniable evidence. But it stunk.
I honestly didn't trust Hillary. Not that I trust Trump much more. I tried really hard to cut through all of the media garbage, yet I still felt this way.
I felt Donald was talking to me, I felt Hillary was talking down to me. She seemed a little elitist, smug, arrogant.
I remember early on in the primaries making fun at the GOP. I thought their primary showed total ineptness as they paraded all these politicians that Donald destroyed. But at least there was a lot of choices. Wasn't much to choose from on the Democratic side, as it was swiftly a Hillary/Bernie battle, and as I stated above it was as if Hillary was pre-determined (well maybe not, but it felt that way).
I really thought Obama did a decent job in his two terms. I enjoyed their more "relaxed" attitude in the White House while keeping professionalism in the forefront. Hopefully Trump will turn out to surpise those who didn't vote for him.
