If they would have went outside the theater and gave the impromptu speech I would have no problem with it. But to embarrass a good man who was trying to enjoy a night with his family, this before he even takes the oath of office is beyond inappropriate. They lose more credibility with every inappropriate, classless thing they do. More and more Democrats are turning their backs on this militant, liberal behavior.

To be honest a rap play about the founding fathers sounds terrible. I know its been a huge success, just not something id spend a couple hundred bucks to sit through. As a post-truth Trump supporting fascist, you have zero credibility at this point. This was a defense of our American liberties, not an "attack" - and a perfect example of how freedom of speech WILL be exercised in this country while we still can. If the fascist Right thought the people of this country were going to go quietly under the thumb, they are hugely mistaken.

The left isn't doing itself any favors! Instead doing some self reflection and understanding why they are losing support, they are doubling down on the very things that are turing people off.

The audience was booing Pence - not the cast. The cast member addressed Pence after the performance was finished, and hushed the booing from the audience. The cast member's comments were calm and very reasonable and did not in any way insult Mr. Pence. I find it ironic, however, that President-elect Trump tweeted afterwards that "The Theater must always be a safe and special place". Who knew that Republicans needed their safe spaces too?
Would you explain the proposed anti LGBT laws passed in indianna by Pence and the quick retreat form the same when economic boycotts to Indianna starngled that odious law out of existence?...multiply that anti-lgbt mindset to a national level, with full stacked gov of anti LGBT desires put into office by only 25% od the population, then you might understand the worry.

There are far, far more important issues that affect more people than this fringe little element.
They got their marriage. Leave them alone now, no one really cares. Trump and Pence do not care about that crap! I'm sure that was just Indiana politics.

If you make your pitch wrapped in the thick veneer of hatred and bigotry, and like Pence make it the lynch-pin of your political career, would you think it now your right to expect class and respect from the peasant class?
The country is being turned into two disparate and polarized camps of ideological stupidity and it can only get worse until your stop this petty bickering and meet somewhere in the middle on some of the more important issues facing the nation.
Until then you can expect that those who've enjoyed all the privilege America has to offer, experiencing some of the negative blow-back causing them some discomfort.
