This whole thing is a political diversity sham.

The people still living in fear are the 'non-diverse'. We're the ones that risk being fired and blacklisted for rightfully criticizing one of the royal diverse. We are the ones that are expected to celebrate diversity and never advocate for our own interests. We are the ones being the most displaced and replaced and unprotected in our country. And we are the ones that are the intended target of seemingly endless political and racial protests and riots.

If the 'diverse America' was really the fearful ones, they would not dare be so rude and disrespectful to the person they allegedly fear to begin with. No white people would dare do something like this and accuse Obama in 2008 that they feared him on behalf of white America.

Everyone knows this was a sham especially the people who pulled this stunt off.

Acting used to be considered about as respectable as prostitution.

There was a good reason for that.

Mike Pence has been roundly booed in New York while seeing Hamilton

Vice-president-elect was filmed being jeered inside the Broadway theater

The booing was so loud at points the performance had to be stopped

The cast also delivered a message to Pence at the conclusion of the show

Performers explained why people are scared of both Pence and Trump

‘We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children,' the cast said

Pence has been in New York for planning talks for Trump's administration

The VP-elect was slammed for seeing the play given his anti-LGBT stances

Even if you're a liberal do you really think it is right for an entire show to be pretty much stopped to attack another person? What about other people in the audience who just wanted to see this play and not have it disrupted by politics?
The headline of the article was somewhat misleading. The show was not stopped in order to deliver the message. The message was given when the show was over. Also, Pence also received cheers as evidenced by the video.

The audience should've threw rotten tomatoes at the clown.

Sure, if the audience had rotten tomatoes, throwing them at Mike Pence would have been expected.

Don't get it twisted. The tomatoes were for the people on stage ruining the audiences experience.

The most awkward part of the night wasn't the lecture to Pence. It was when two of the therapy dogs that comfort the actors started having sex on stage.

A long four years indeed.

There's a thing called "the right time and place". At a play that people were paying to see a performance, not the political opinions of some pampered actors was neither the right time nor place.

Do you know how to read? There was no ruining the experience. The show was over already. Why are cons so thin skinned?

The irony that Trump & his supporters, the ever offended, would say the left needs a safe space is monumental. You people & your man child idol really should think before you do anything.
