I dont think even her party would vote for her. She will get single digit votes. How does the German election system works? Is it like ours with electoral colleges or the American Idol type popular vote that the liberals here are aggresively pushing?
Germany, oddly, might find itself a liberal island in a reactionary sea. Poland, Austria, Holland, Hungary, even France have right-wing parties that are in power or nearly in power. I think Merkel will be re-elected because the right has nowhere else to go in Germany. The Alternative for Germany is not in the same league as the National Front, Law and Justice, Freedom Party, etc.
She might be re-elected in reaction to Trump. Germans might feel they need her centrist and steadying influence to moderate America's new role on the world stage. Whatever that turns out to be.
On the other hand, if America indicates it truly is devaluing NATO and cozying up to Russia, it might drive Germany into close cooperation with her near neighbors: the Baltics, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Hungary. As these are become more rightist, it might force Germany that way, too.
If she wins again, Trump will not have much of a relationship with Merkel, thus minimal concern for Germany. The Brits will "go to the front of the line" and Germany to the back. Merkel's an idiot.
Angela Merkel has committed terrorists acts against the German
people by selling germany out to the globalist and flooding the
country with Radical Islamist.
She needs to be arrested and put on trial for Treason.
The EU is crumbling and she will fall .
Justice will be served.
