These are the things some of you believe Marine will do, right?

Leaving aside recent terrorist acts and the Muslim issue, France for some time has problems, problems no one in French society truly wants to address.
Large segments of the population of that country want to continue the fast social systems/way of life even as it is clear France cannot afford to do so; that and or such policies are causing all sorts of issues.
Have studied French language, culture and history since high school. Have visited the place often and have many, many friends. But am here to tell you here in New York City have never seen so many French persons in my life. Every where you go you hear them chattering away and so forth; reason they are here and over many other parts of the USA is clear; employment, especially for young persons. Quite simply there aren't jobs in France, and their bizarre and vast regulation of industry/employment sector is one of the reasons.
It simply isn't possible to start the sort of "tech sector" things you have here in the USA easily (if at all) in France. So those bright French entrepreneurs are leaving France for the USA, Israel and other places.
Just as with most other old Western industrialized nations including USA and much of Western Europe manufacturing has been slowly moving first to the East and now also Asia. Germany of course is another matter. France does have some bright spots in manufacturing (rail, military, etc..) but they cannot hope to employ the huge numbers needing work.
French love their labor protections and benefits (35 hour work week, long vacations, etc...) problem is the nation cannot afford such things any longer.
