Another innocent police officer has been murdered in cold blood. Shame on those evil people who target police officers and heap hate on police officers.
I despise Black Lives Matter and their hateful rhetoric and all evil groups of people who advocate killing police!
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus told the press that while the officer was writing a ticket, someone pulled up behind the squad car, stepped out of his vehicle and shot the officer twice, once in the head. The shooter then drove off.
Just horrible. Horrible. What is going on?
All these innocent people gunned down, or run over, when they're just doing their job. They don't even get paid a lot.
Something needs to be done or we'll end up with not enough police officers, and then we'll have anarchy.
Well, he's got a point. If you're counting numbers, white males have certainly done a lot more mass killings in our country than anyone else. Primarily young white males, but one guy (in a theater in Lafayette, La.) was older. Innocent children, a Congressional Rep., several theaters, several schools. We had one Muslim hit an army office; he was in the army himself. We had two Muslims hit the Boston Marathon. We had a husband and wife Muslim team hit an office where he worked. But the white males killed more, I'm pretty sure. And they go back to the Oklahoma federal building, which was quite a few years back.
But targeting an innocent person for the sins of others in that group is murder, too, and horrible. Not as horrible as shooting little kids in their faces like happened not long ago, but horrible.
The part I don't get is that in today's America, non-African-American cops cannot-under any condition, use lethal force on a criminal of color, lest everyone eek and ook about profiling, while excusing the crime- and somehow that's OK??? Decent cops and law-abiding people have to accept that? How can you not get that is wrong and dangerous???
Is it wrong to automatically accuse a cop of racism in the cases you describe? Absolutely.
But cops do profile. That's a given. How can you not get that is wrong and dangerous???
To be honest I am far more worried about angry young white males and their random acts of mass violence.
Really, more YBM are killed in Chicago any given weekend than all random acts of violence by YWM combined.
