I am a native Californian who is very much anti-Trump.

Totally opposed to this Calexit movement. We are the United States of America. Let's grow up and be better losers.

I came here to help my sister, and soon, I'll be out of here. It's going to be a glorious day - this state absolutely sucks when it comes to government, and the gated community liberals who don't have a clue what the rest of the country is going through.

I will miss the animals and the nature, nothing more.

I hope you all are successful. You can bring in all the illegals that you want...since liberals won't work those fields - get their butts out of their chairs in their air conditioned offices where they make stupid videos about SJW issues all day? Not bloody likely. You can push for $30/hr minimum wage and wonder why you're paying $60 for your cheeseburger from In-n-Out. You can watch as your desert state ends up looking like Death Valley all over the place. You can watch as the gangs take over the guilt ridden white liberals who will crawl to them on their knees begging to be accepted so that they can tell everyone about their, as someone put it in another thread, "accessories" of "minority" friends.

I only ask that you let all the Republicans out before you secede.

I ask that you please leave Mt. Shasta alone.

The rest of the country will sit back and watch you implode after a few years. So, yes. Please. PLEASE be successful.

I'd be all for it. Everyone makes fun of the land of fruits and nuts, so why would the rest of America care? Oh yeah, because of our being the salad bowl of America, Silicon Valley, etc etc etc

If California went with a president system, then there is a very good chance they would elect a Democrat as president. As for who the US elects, if they aren't a part of the US, then why would it matter if a Democrat doesn't get elected president in a country they are not a part of?

I think I'm the only other one who actually read that article.
The leadership behind this nonsense has some serious conflicting issues.
He even voted for Trump and campaigned against gay marriage, and it all basically boils down to some immigration issues with his Russian wife while Obama was president.

Needless to say, I'm pretty sure our liberal CA friends here on C-D and the Calexit leadership are not on the same page.

lol...I've heard that before, but invariably when Republicans are in power they get so carried away with themselves and try to turn the entire system upside down that they get spanked real hard in the next election..just wait, you will see.
