Found this guy. Seems like an odd fellow, but he also talks a lot of good sense. He voted for Trump but is not 100% a supporter. He points out that in many many instances, Trump is just screwing with us.

Is he right? Does Trump have the MSM and liberals jumping at shadows? Is he just screwing with everyone to get his point across?

Trump doesn't have a very effective internal filter and is an emotional person. He spouts off without thinking and then has too big of an ego to admit he shouldn't have spouted off.

Trump is operating on a different level, and most of the left are so clueless that they think it is Trump that is "dumb".

There are some good videos out there explaining what Trump is doing. Scott Adams is one of the better know people that was breaking down how Trump is using advanced persuasion techniques.

At first I thought people were just nuthugging wishful thinkers. But the more I watch, the more I'm convinced that Trump really is doing exactly what Styxhexenhammer666 and Scott Adams and others said he'd doing. He is quite intentionally kicking over the anthill at precisely the right time to achieve a desired result.

Look at what he's doing with cabinet appointments. Normally, you watch and see who is going in to chat with the President Elect. But everybody is meeting with Trump in recent days and they can't all be destined for jobs in his administration. He is quite intentionally throwing up a giant smokescreen so nobody can guess what he's going to do until he does it.

No, he is not right. He is trying to defend Trumps hypocrisy, but not very successfully.

This is a very fair assessment. I'd like to see him reel in his emotions a bit and be more Presidential in personality. He has a chance to make some great much-needed changes and he'll be off to a better start if he stops wigging out so much on petty inconsequential issues.

Every apologist has an "explanation", which they offer after each dumb tweet.

I'm starting to think you and yours are underestimating him. Look at the tweet and stop and think:

Quote:
The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!
Consider the phrasing there. I think he just intentionally triggered a whole lot of people into denouncing the entire concept of safe spaces.

Who the hell thinks of the theater as a "safe and special place?" Why use those words at all? Intentional or not, it actually worked. It got liberals denouncing the idea of safe spaces.

I'd say wait and see. If he keeps on "accidentally" getting desired results by saying something that seems stupid or poorly thought out on the surface, then odds are he really is using advance persuasion techniques and going all "Art of War" on the Dems. And it's actually quite brilliant. Both political parties are convinced through and through that the other side is nothing but a bunch of braindead morons. So why would the Dems ever suspect that Trump is intentionally screwing with them and getting them to destroy their own causes for him? How could a "braindead moron" be that clever? If you're convinced that he's too dumb to do it, you'll just keep falling for it.

What does he gain from having a smokescreen? Why does it matter if people can or can't guess?
