Exactly. They are the worst offended about everything. Put up a tree and string pork garland on it.

No, it's not. Just the premise of some individuals who hide behind religion as their excuse.

I figure, in the words of the old TV show character, Maude: God'll get 'em for that.

Really? Do you have an actual, valid link to this story? Because fake Islamaphobia stories like this pop up every year, and you just choosing to believe them without any question and passing them.along just makes you part of the problem

What should she wear? Something with a nice star on it?

YOU must care, otherwise you would NOT be on this thread titled, "Saying Merry Christmas!"

So, why are YOU here?
Your reading comp could use some work. I am not saying you should never care what anyone says. I am talking about the people who go into a blind rage when someone wishes them "Happy Holidays" instead of a "Merry Christmas".

So to reiterate, why the crap would you care if someone said "Happy Holidays"? Are you that insecure with yourself that someone saying happy holidays ruins your Christmas or something? I also find it quite funny when people in this thread are saying that someone saying Happy Chanukah to them would be okay, because it is just "well wishes" or whatever, and then lose their mind if someone says happy holidays.

I stick to my initial thoughts. People who freak out over happy holidays are ridiculous little snowflakes.

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays evolved because people freaked out over Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas!

Exactly. The Rage Industry manufactures stories to feed their rage addicted audiences. Its what drive Hate Talk Radio and websites like Drudge.

No. It evolved because there is more than one thing to celebrate that time of year. Including secular New Year's. What is so hard to understand about that?

Not any kind of star, The Star of David.

Of course not! So why should a Jew get all huffy when I wish them Merry Christmas like has happened to me before? I was brought up Christian so Merry Christmas was what I was used to. How the heck could I have told these people were Jews? Not like they had signs on them. Unless you are male wearing a "beanie" (can't remember the correct name) or a turban, or a woman who covers her head and or body, I say Merry Christmas. Tough cookies if you get offended. It was said in good will.

Hamaka?
