Things like this make me very happy! I'm always on the working man's (and woman's) side in these cases. That's because I know what team I play for. Some working stiffs seem to be confused about what uniform they wear.

Good for these truck drivers! I'm glad a large greedy corporation is gonna take it in the shorts for once.

Give people what they're due...stop being greedy. What does the Walton family want? Another fricken yacht?

This may set a precedent for other companies as well since most long distance truck drivers are paid by the mile and not by the hour.

I thought business owners and managers did everything based on free and fair agreement and the 'non-force/aggression' principle ?

From their site. No mention of "hiring a million veterans"., but they have hired over 100000. Maybe your "zero" key bounces.

Go to a truck stop/ refueling station sometime and look how many truck drivers are Mexicans or from Central America. There's no shortage of foreign drivers these trucking companies are hiring.

Any time Walmart loses it's a win for the average guy. There was never a family who took greed to the extremes more than the Walton family does. May they rot in hell.

I expect some right winger come in and tell us how this is bad because Wal Mart will now cut wages and benefits for all the other workers to pay the fine so all workers must unite against these disobedient truck drivers who had the chutzpah to stand up for themselves.
