Actually, this is the drama-drenched part:

We oughta send him and John McCain and the other two to Syria to patrol the streets of Aleppo in an unarmored Humvee.

Trump needs to wake up and surround himself with the people who fought for him from day one.
But all y'all knew that.

No, I don't think we all knew that.

I think people who still make excuses for war hawks are pretty disgusting.

I felt a very deep sense of betrayal when Haley gave in to pressure from Obama and the liberal media and removed the Confederate flag from the South Carolina statehouse. Bobby Jindal in Louisiana, in contrast, stood proudly with the flag and with Southern culture.

We're constantly reminded that not all Muslims are terrorists. Imagine if someone said seeing a hijab was a trigger. But one bad person shoots up the black church, and suddenly all of Southern culture should come under attack?
Imagine if a foreign Country insisted on flying their flag over its State house 100 years after it was defeated by the United States of America? Imagine if they decided to leave it flying? Imagine this happened in the 1960s during the height of the Civil Rights Movement?

It wasn't flying over the statehouse when Haley took it down, it was over Confederate memorial on the statehouse grounds.
I see what Tom Lennox is saying, I just don't see it being a national or international issue.

I see immediately where this is going. Republican voters generally prefer governors (although this sure was a change up) because of chief executive experience. The knock againt this is that they have no foreign experience.

Here is a very successful and likable governor who wil now have a wealth of foreign policy experience.

If you want to know who the first woman president will be, I think you know now. And I would not be surprised if Trump declines a second term and she runs in for years.

Mark this thread and bump it in four.
good possibility but come on,, it is way too soon to be taking 2020, not to mention her position isn't nearly as "up front" as some appointments.

for all the libs out there, could Trump nominate anyone that would make you happy? I can't get over how so many can be such babies about the election? God, grow up and yes, "suck in up"

Did you read the link, 'The Day The Flag Went Up'? Just curious.

Frankly, I don't get what he's saying.

Also frankly, I see moving a foreign Country's flag around on US statehouse is, too little too late. A more meaningful gesture would be to remove the monument honoring J Marion (Mengele) Sims.

By mainstreet GOP standards. The people running the GOP now are well to the right of that. (See Bob Inglis 4 dist SC loss...)

To the GOP base now, anything other than gilded age social darwinism is "socialist"

As to the original question. Lets see how she does. I do believe Trump is actively creating a legacy of "he gave x person their first national important position and later they became president." with multiple people. Its a legacy thing. Trump is ego. One way to live past your actual life is to have a big legacy. that feeds his ego.

'The house that initially remained here was truly the ugliest in the area! Luckily, the neighborhood protection board of trustees concurred with us, so we were offered endorsement to thump it down and begin once more. What truly pulled in me was the plot itself, which is incredible. , commercial interior design The garden is west-bound, so offers excellent light. What attracted me was that it offered space for a storm cellar loaded with common light, so we modified the house sans preparation to understand my vision.'http://indoorhifi.com/
