The issue is increased access with decreasing costs. There is a lot of room for improvement. Don't just pat the special interest groups on the back with mandated new customers for their benefit at your expense, financial and health related.
Thats the same complacency that led to Hillary losing.
Its mind blowing to me how out of touch and lazy people are. The GOP is an extension of the super rich who HATE universal health care with a passion. Universal health care means that the economic establishment have one less whip to use against the workers. Its terrible for the ruling class. The ruling class need as many whips as possible to uphold a system of desperate and financially insecure workers.
I fully expect it to be repealed and hundreds of thousands will die as a result, unless the people stand up and fight back. It will be especially bad for all the people with horrible diseases that are costly. They will now die.
Trump has stated that he will replace Obamacare with something better.

It's going to die one way or another. People like me paying full ticket price and monthly premiums skyrocketing to a point it no longer makes sense are no longer going to buy insurance and are self insuring. If no one pays in then Obamacare will die.

Unless something has changed, all of us are going to die. The only question is when, and how painful will it be.
The ACA went far beyond healthcare. That thing is thousands of pages for a reason. It was just a huge government regulation free for all. Do you think that placing a tax just on tanning salons will improve peoples health, or taxing certain medical devices, which drives UP the cost of health care.
Two things are going to happen, Medicare will be expanded nationwide to cover more of the poor. Health insurance companies will be able to sell across state lines. That will be the base of it. The rest is just getting rid of all of the hidden taxes, and senseless regulations that were bundled with the ACA.
You libs wishing for single payer, it isn't going to happen. If you removed all of the profit from the medical field, it would collapse the economy. Do you have any idea how much local, state, and federal revenue comes from insurance companies, for profit hospitals, clinics, and the entire medical community. How would you replace all of that income, if the government took over all health insurance, owned all hospitals, and all doctors and medical staff were government employees. Imagine your own communitie, every single doctors office, and hospital belonging to the government.

lifetime caps for care (get expensive cancer and you're kicked off and will die) and pre-existing conditions are both on the chopping board. Remember Trump said he would drain the swamp, ban all muslims and throw hillary in jail. The question we have to ask now is how we can best help our neighbors and friends who will be affected. People have every right to be terrified when the donor class assume full control over all levers of government.
