Yeah, if you prove to me that I can directly kill someone by having those rights, I'll gladly give them up.

Deal?

Thats the problem, YOU don't get to give up your or anyone elses rights for them. I'm pretty sure I'll take the collective knowledge of the founding fathers over the knee-jerk whim of someone who just has to see guns banned no matter what.

Yes, exactly why we need to ban guns. Thanks for making the point for us.

Very disingenuous.

According to FBI crime statistics, in 2014:

Knife murders: ~1,500

Gun murders: ~8,000 (only 250 with rifles including assault rifles)

While it is obvious that guns are favored murdered weapons, to say that knives are some sort of innocuous non-entity is patently absurd.

Knife murders are far from rare and in the absence of other types of weapons, knife murders become very popular as seen in countries like Japan and the UK.

The attacker appears to be a Somalia refugee. A Muslim nation where we have been conducting drone strikes against terrorists. ISIS asked their followers to commit knife attacks in the US.

People kill other people without having the right to have a gun. Go look at the attack in Nice,France. Go look at the attack in Graz,Austria. The attackers in those killings used cars to kill their victims. Go look up Jeffrey Dahmer, who strangled and hit his victims with heavy everyday objects.

If it's a Muslim, Obama will make us call it "school-place violence."

Where did you get this idea that banning guns would eliminate murders???!!

No one has ever said that here.

This guy murdered his victims mainly through strangulation or bludgeoning. He also ate his victims. We have some sick individuals in our society.
Crazy isn't it!

Here is another statistic. While it doesn't specify how said person died, 35,092 people died from motor vehicle related causes. More people die from vehicular killing than from guns. How many of those are murder related, I don't know. However, if the attacks in Nice and Graz are any indication, it isn't hard to murder people with cars.
