Actually the misattributed quote of Churchill was a general statement as others were making quotes but the first was for you and your rants.

I was being generous about the 10%. Have you seen an independent media? Foxnews would be an independent media.
That is from 2014, and it doesn't include all the random sites that people get their news from these days. Also, the number of people that can call themselves a "journalist" is a shrinking number. But since it is the closest to matching what you are claiming, I will accept that.

A number of people who voted for Trump called my show to tell me that their daughters had informed them that they would no longer allow their parents to see their grandchildren. And one man sent me an email reporting that his brother-in-law's mother told him that she "no longer had a son."

These are politically sick people.
WOW a person who actually read the article. A rare thing here.

I get it. I am not openly avoiding family who voted for Trump, but let's just say, I won't be visiting for Christmas. And it is not the same with Bush, or Romney or Obama. All of them are decent men. We can disagree on politics, but that is where it ends. It's about Trump, not politics. With Trump, the man is a pig, a vile, disgusting pig who has lived an immoral life and whose remarks during the campaign made anyone with a sense of decency sick to his stomach. So, to my mind, the people who voted for him do not have a sense of decency and are as disgusting as he is. I will not associate with them if I can avoid it - including family. It just makes one call into question how their family members could stoop so low, think so little of their country, be so morally bankrupt.
You just proved the article right. Go read it again.

I honestly don't get people such as yourself. How can you cut off family and close friends because of a vote? My sister could've been the head of her local Democratic election center and had Hillary's face tramp stamped on her lower back. I wouldn't care. She is my sis. I've known her longer than I've known Trump even had a desire to run for Prez. People aren't vile for supporting him, they're tired of the lies of the media, the corruption and the insistence that they're racist for being patriotic and wanting control of the borders. Trump is just a face, the movement to have someone shatter the elite's dominance is something that is beyond him.

Don't you even attempt to understand the other side? No empathy? I know liberals lack self reflection and are assured that they're right and everyone else is just a racist vile boob, but at least have sympathy for your own family.

I've cut leftists out of my life. Best thing I ever did. Being around them is nauseating.

That is what they mean. I am sorry they can't articulate it back to you in some PC laden way like a jaded college professor or explain it to you like VOX explains things out to you.

They did not care who was lobbing that grenade. You could run a can of soup against Hillary, the Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup would've won because Hillary was exposed for being corrupt. The Wikileaks revealed the collaboration between the media and the Democratic party that Trump supporters always knew existed. To the media it was nothing but business as usual but to the average voter it was seen as evidence of collusion to push a candidate.

You guys keep focusing on Trump but not the movement for change behind Trump. The anti-establishment, anti-globalization populism that propelled Trump to the front. You guys also want your family members to actually articulate all this in a college dissertation or something? I highly doubt they're all shouting incoherent things at you, you just won't listen except to decode those things back as racist, xenophobic or what not based on your narratives.

It has nothing to do with "PC". Some of you guys can't get through a damn post without talking about PC, snowflakes, safe spaces...it's pathetic. I've never experienced any of this nonsense in my life yet foolish right wing trolls on the internet seem to think that every person who holds any position slightly left of center is some Yale hyper PC millenial screaming about Halloween costumes. It's a complete strawman you've built up. You see a handful of videos and think somehow this kind of stuff applies to all leftists or Democrats or even Socialists. Newsflash: It doesn't. So, you start off like you are trying to be a rational adult and end up going right down the toilet bowel with a cliched right wing fallacy like all the other alt media sheep.

Anyway, that aside, yes both Bernie and Trump are populists, but Trump is a walking personality disorder. Clinton was a deeply flawed candidate given the inside track by the Dem establishment..that doesn't for one second change the fact that I can't see any rational person thinking Trump has the personality or intellect to be President, and that sentiment was shard by many Republicans I know. Although of course most of them are upper middle class Northeastern Republicans. Hopefully I am wrong but judging from his inability to behave like an adult even after winning, I'm thinking we are in for a rough and embarassing run.

What do you expect people to think when scores of liberals and leftists and Dems take to the streets to protest a free and fair election? What do you think conservatives were subject to after eight years of Obama besides the typical virtue signaling of most SJWs? We do not get this image of the once rugged union guy who voted Democrat and still has a connection to the working guy but instead get this image, an image spread all over the media of the liberal who needs safe spaces, supports BLM, and will cut off all ties with you if you even agreed with Trump on the sky being blue on a cloudless sunny day. From Hollywood celebs, to youtube stars, to feminists, to angry activists in the BLM movement calling for a death to all cops, to university students shouting at someone for having dreadlocks because it's cultural appropriation, to the virtue signaling by liberals on FB, Instagram, and Twitter, to politicians saying if you're conservative you're not welcome in the State of NY.

Tell me kind sir. What are people supposed to think when that has been the face of the left for the past four years or so?

You guys are so busy getting huffy over what Trump said but most of us were mad about what Clinton did. IF anything her pushing out Bernie so dirtily should've given anyone in that party a clue that things weren't right. How many Democratic Party Chairman did you guys go through that had to resign out of some scandal that was unearthed by Wikileaks? Two in less than a year?

Please get off the high horse because Dems have no room to throw stones. The party that weaponized identity politics.
