The point is the very next 2 sentences of that very post you've selectively quoted.

I prefer a society that would treat that child and their health condition equally.

You prefer a society that would treat them according to what their parents could afford.

You can have insurance or not. If you have insurance, prices don't change (meaning, you can't bill people more with insurance, as they do currently). You can choose to not use your insurance (similar to car insurance) and pay out of pocket or not.
If you do not have insurance, nobody is compelled to provide care for you.
If they do provide care, it is considered charitable. Therefore, you agree to either allow trainees practice on you and/or you don't get to sue except if it can be shown that deliberate and purposeful wrongdoing was performed. Medical mistakes cannot be sued for.
That is never going to happen. We are not going to allow people to just die because they can't afford to see a doctor.

I know. Your point is that you reject reality. That was my point.

I know, that's why I said that they can receive charitable healthcare from trainees who are protected from lawsuits.

Equal access to healthcare regardless of their ability to pay is not rejecting reality.
That IS reality in most affluent western democracies.

Equal access is also set in a lot of Supreme Court rulings.

I argued we have to curtail the costs of lawsuits to start with.

They should be triaged and sent home. No one has a right to have a heart specialist flown in to save your life. Make them comfortable until they die.

You can wish it but it's never going to happen. It's a waste of time trying to make your fantasies law.
