Being armed is indeed a choice. And also one that comes with responsibilities. To be trained and practiced and observe the safety rules. I believe if one is serious about the security of their loved ones and themselves being armed is right and proper. If the threatened violence we are hearing about does come to pass I'm prepared as well. Should this violence spill into our neighborhood I can and will stand and deliver.
Its this type of threat that is why we have the 2a. We are not forced as yet into helplessness and dependence on police to protect ourselves. Its been decided officially that the police have no responsibility to offer protection. Yet there is a movement afoot that advocates we depend on them anyway and give up our personal arms. Think I'll keep mine.
AND legs! Move and shoot, move and shoot, repeat as needed!
I noticed that many store parking lots, Target, Walmart, the mall, etc., were 1/3-1/2 empty in the early morning of Black Friday. It was very unusual. However, Gander Mountain was packed. The pawn shops were packed. I assumed it was due to gun sales.
I bought a new AR for me and a 380 for the wife, but it was prior to the election. Need to find a range now.
No kidding? Wow. No semi autos period? The 7400 is a really common deer rifle. My stepdads is a 30 06, and I have a couple buddies that use them in 270. It's chambered in all the popular calibers and uses a 3 round mag. Accuracy wise it will run right there with a bolt gun. It's made specifically for hunting. This is the first I've ever heard of such guns being banned for hunting anywhere.
Yea..noticed the filter thing too. Lol. I can get a router easy enough.
Easy gig (lol) and easy gig tool kit. Got it. Cool. Seeing another AR in my future. This lower being of the quality it is in believe I'll build a precision rifle out of it. Is this kit an online order only proposition?
I just purchased 5 Billet aluminum 80% lowers from 80percentarms.com $60 each.
The blemished, deals.... I cannot find the blemish???? They are awesome and raw milling, which looks cool and with my 24" stainless upper, it looks damn good.

The Police State has replaced the Free State, because governments have denied us the people our full civil rights as free people, with liberty and justice for all.
It took Trump to show the liberals the wisdom of arming themselves against the government.
And any foreign invaders. While it's unlikely, it is possible.
It's good Americans are armed. The .000001% (yes I pulled that number out of nowhere) are the people that are doing these mass killings.
I'd have no qualms with the others putting two in the head of these people that do this prior to their massacre of unarmed people. We have a police officer in Ohio that rightfully so is being lauded for shooting down this deranged kid driving people over stabbing people with knives. We should have no sympathy for this behavior.
I'd hope we can devise a better healthcare system where people that are having issues have the ability early to see professional help. It should go without saying though, if someone pulls a gun on someone else without defensive cause, they've just signed their own death sentence.

The left will never understand the domino effect that guns make a society less violent(who wants to get shot?) and a lot more polite to each other......
Sure bad guys will have evil on their minds and they are culled from society, quickly. Problem solved.
example: Travon Martins violent tendencies v. George Zimmerman's gun.
I had to go check that too. I didn't realize that any state banned the use of semi's for hunting. Learn something new every day.
Wow. I've been in the dark on this for sure. With the rifles out there in semi auto trim designed specifically for hunting, whoda thunk? Like I said, the 7400 only takes three rounds, just like most bolt guns and its been around longer than the AR which is the type of rifle that seems to be the focus of this ban. I'm getting the impression that mag capacity is the worry with semi autos in this instance.
Being as the Game commission still wants to limit use of all semi autos to varmint hunting only, I'd say that's a safe assumption. I have to say I do see it as being a bit behind the times.
Obama has released the most people convicted for a felony with a gun?
How many was that?
Yes, it was fairly recent news, most guilty of drug trafficking end firearm violations together.
I read through the list of the individuals profiles.
