The woman was hired to give an Internet Security/ Internet Bullying awareness speech.
But instead she went on an offensive political rant, and then continued to argue with students online that night.

Quote:
According to Mr. Snyder, the goal of the assembly was to educate students on digital privacy and online safety and though those points were made, Ms. Macrina’s presentation took a turn into rocky anti-Trump, political territory when it came time for the Q&A. Ms. Macrina used language such as “white nationalism,” “racist and sexist trolling,” and “white privilege” to the group — nearly 800 14- and 15-year-old students.

The principal issued an apology to all the students and parents for her offensive speech.

This woman needs professional help. She is clearly not mature or stable enough to speak to anyone, much less high school students.

what a dumbass. stick to the topic, macrina.

Quote:
Macrina's "strident style combined with provocative and inflammatory language caused students and adults to be understandably offended.”

Haha how ironic. The lady was hired to give a speech on cyber bullying, but instead decided some good 'ol fashion face to face bullying was what the event really needed. Haha, crybully snowflakes at there finest.

They can't help it. It's a religious impulse for them. They think they're paragons of virtue by virtue signaling to unwitting audiences.

I agree. Progressivism is a religion with the same fervor, hate, and indoctrination of the Westboro Baptist Church.

The irony is if this had turned into a religious Christian preaching session by a speaker on internet privacy, the school would have immediately instructed the students to leave the assembly and shut down the speaker. A religious progressive was allowed to espouse her religion, however.

From the OP source:

Ms. Macrina used language such as “white nationalism,” “racist and sexist trolling,” and “white privilege” to the group — nearly 800 14- and 15-year-old students.

Reminds me of C.S. Lewis: Tyranny of Good Intentions
