True, but they're working at a higher rate. Therefore, STILL in the working column in the LFPR.

More Senior Americans Are Working Past Retirement, Willingly

Is it possible that the number of seniors still in the workforce is larger because the boomer generation is larger, meaning we have more seniors than ever before?

Also, as to those studying, Generation Z, which is now the largest generation in US history, would therefore have more people in school than ever before.

Not considering all the other various reasons people do what they do, when you have a larger pool to begin with, you will have greater numbers in all areas.

That means 20 million people are of normal working age, not in college and not working.

Are 90 million Americans not working or not looking for work? | PolitiFact

That still leaves 20 million who have no reason not to be working out there but are still eating, have cellphones and watch cable. There are countries that don't have 20 million people.
SAHM. Believe me, I work. I just don't personally draw a paycheck that the government can track. It would be better to look at household employment rates and income than individual employment rates. People group themselves into households for a reason.

No. The rate of seniors still working has increased from 12.8% percent in 2000 to 18.8% percent now. That's an increase of nearly 50% in a very short time. Do you not understand percentiles and rates?

Yes, actually. Everyone is jealous of you, since we're all working to support you. It's great because you're retired in your 50s and lounging around wondering why everyone else is so resentful while they pay you to not work. It doesn't bother me if you laugh at me, since all that does is make it clear to everyone who and what unions are.

No, I worked at the steel mill that recently spent $1.2 Billion dollars on the world`s most advanced hot rolling mill. They built it with cash, not loans. See how little you know about the steel industry? They used union labor for construction and union labor is operating this facility.

That means that they spent roughly 70% more than they needed to in order to build and operate the facility.

You would trust a bunch of $8 an hour workers to build the world`s most advanced rolling mill? ATI made their money using union labor. Envy is one of the 7 deadly sins.
