The people perpetuating the fake/slanted/exaggerated news online are only hurting themselves. If enough threats like this pizza gunman are attributed to the theories, especially specifically targeting individuals and businesses as a witch hunt, then more censorship will result. There is a place were a story, a theory, starts to go extreme and become dangerous but they just keep pushing it.
The originators of the fake news don't keep pushing. The stories are circulated by idiots who are making thousands for them. The guy who wrote the Pizza story said it yielded him 10,000$. The FBI suicide piece also brought him about that much.

Do people not understand that Flynn is going to be head of the NSA?? It's no wonder he's buddies with Putin. Ex-KGB Putin and his buddies love disinformation (and the uneducated). Russia has been a fountain of propaganda for years and pretty much everyone knows it, but now he has very receptive ears in DC. It is downright frightening. Flynn needs to go.
