Iraq was far more stable before Bush went in. It was a relatively modern society (for the area) and secular in nature. Now it is neither and hasn't been since well before Obama was elected.

So as Iraq and Afghanistan were left unresolved for Obama to sort out, so too will Syria be for Trump.
At least the way out of Syria looks fairly straight forward.

Stop supporting the rebels.
Let Assad and Russia win.
Let Russia pay to rebuild the place etc.
The indiscriminate bombings took their toll and the participation of the US was really limited, it's Assad's country. He may win the battle but he won't win the war, without the assistance of Russia it was a stalemate. Both sides would have grow tired of the war at some point as is the case with many civil wars but with so many countries involved that wasn't happening.

Strange how we viewed Saddam Hussein as brutal dictator, Assad isn't looking any better.

Do you mean the two wars that Hillary voted for and which Obama was commander in chief over for the last 8 years? Yep I agree with you.

Obama is a failed president.

Bush was an idiot for going to war with Iraq.

Too bad Hillary Clinton didn't use her status and position to lobby against it. Instead she jumped right on that Freedom Fries, lets pour out the French wine idiot wagon and fully supported it too.

And in part it cost her the election. Trump has been headed down that same failed path.

Trump is against wars of choice and "nation building".

He is for working with Putin to deal with the terrorism that rose from such failed ventures. Obama has too big of an ego to do so.

So was Obama. Trump has said he supports targeting innocent citizens. Hopefully he forgets that one.

I'll credit him if he does that but we will see.

Is that why he & Hillary bombed Libya to smithereens?

Libya posed absolutely no danger to the USA.
