A firefighter in upstate New York is facing a felony arson charge after authorities say he set his family’s house on fire and wrote an anti-police message outside as a potential cover-up.
Authorities say they found a “Blue Lives Matter” flag outside the home and a spray-painted message on a wall reading: “Lie with pigs, fry like bacon.”
These guys live everyday constantly afraid of threats that literally don't exist. Can you imagine being so obsessed and afraid, you set your own house on fire to try and garner sympathy and protection? While your family is inside?
I'm sure the left will back this fellow, after all, they're backing the person who went into Comet Pizza with a gun and they blamed the new right and alt right for this guy's actions, so i guess we can blame the leftists here, im sure the media will be fair and balanced on this one.
This is Broome County? That's the Southern Tier/Western NY. Absent Western New York, the rest of Upstate is pretty normal.
That is south-central (Birmingham). Not western. Unless you consider anything west of NYC as "western NY". The closer you get to NYC the loonier NYS gets.

BTW, one of my sisters was married to a firefighter. He was caught setting fires in random places. It does happen.
