I dont know how to feel about that, you are saying as a matter of societal norms, you should be allowed to believe whatever you want regardless of if its accurate or not? Religion works under this concept, but this could be problematic in a large scale, think about what would happen if the majority of people chose to believe whatever just felt right to them, and made decisions that affected other members of the society based on that feeling, oh wait that already happened.

These people using YouTube as a verified source of something. Anyone can post a video on YouTube.
Anyone can make a seemingly verifiable network news report as well.
I guess it really comes down to WHO you want to believe.. and maybe their prior track record.
