Too; more and more at least light skin mixed people with known Black or Asian/Indian family are claiming "anglo white" and, word is even the storm front kind are are turning a blind eye to the lack of race "purity". Especially if it's a young lady who's a hottie with blue eyes.
Hispanic is a CULTURE not a race. You aren't telling me something that I don't already know, dear heart.
Again, why are so many concerned about how these Hispanic people of European, sub-Saharan African and indigenous ancestry identify? And more to the point....that they identify as "white"? If they want to be "white" then let them be "white"
It matters to white nationalists who now run the country and want to keep the nation as pure as possible.
Probably true. It most likely also matters to Black nationalists/Afro centrists who dont respect mixed race Hispanics (especially mulattos) identifying with "the man".
FYI I'm neither, just asking a simple question. I'm a Black American married to a Puerto Rican, he proudly identifies all his roots.
Self identifying as white when your not, will not change ya community's or ya family's socioeconomic problems or how society views you. Nor will it change ya genetics.
So if someone is of 75% European ancestry are they not "white"?
Confirmation that the White (Caucasian) Race is derived from Dravidian Albinos, is documented in the findings from genetic analysis of Y-DNA haplogroup "R.

No, they are mostly of white ancestry, but they are NOT full white. And they would probably get different treatment from the government, police, society if that other 25% is black.
In America, race isn't JUST about genetics, its also about socioeconomics.

Thank you for that. You beat me to it. Was just about to say that.

Actually many Black nationalists wish that mixed race people would stop attempting to identify as or claim "black" if they aren't visibly "black"....same coin, different side

Really? Word is what scares a LOT of the "Black power" kind is mixed race people NOT IDing as "Black" cause that cuts down their at least political power. Fewer Black people: more "others" who may NOT stand with the Black community when things get tough there.
Because there is no Hispanic or Latino race. I don't get why this is so hard for Americans to understand and I bet it's due to whiteness being seen as only blonde haired blue eyed Aryan or something akin to that. Hispanics are mixed but a lot of them are also mixed with European ancestry including Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Do you want them to deny that part of their heritage to fit some inane invention by politicians to box people in for votes?
