Yes, a massive trade war with the biggest or second biggest market for a huge number of US based companies is a good way to start the presidency. Top it off with a sharp escalation in all conflict hotspots of US concern as a result of Chinese retaliation, and we'll have what you and the military industrial complex dream of: perpetual warfare, huge cuts in funding of social programs and a decimated middle class.

Nah, it's mostly just hysteria from the left. They were perfectly okay with Obama's embrace of the butchers of Tehran while making sure they end up with nuclear weapons and applauded his embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

The left thinks so differently they're impossible to understand. Fortunately, the American people have wisely sidelined them from any serious power.

Ah, someone with a least some brain activity.... are we done with the FAKE NEWS that the Chinese are going to militarily attack us? Trade war has been happening for decades... have you not seen the casualties... do you think they are going to stop because Trump is President... Trump is going to strike back whether you liberals like it or not...

We have a trade imbalance of about $30 billion a MONTH with China.

You must really hate the American workers if you enjoy the fact that America is flooded with products made in China.

Actually, most of this low end manufacturing has been moving away from China to much lower cost locales like Vietnam, Bangladesh and India. The US had had a trade deficit for 40 years. A trade surplus or trade deficit is no necessarily something whine about.
