The acknowledgement that America has not overcome racism is the bitter pill that we must wake every morning and take. Surely at this point in history there is a dwindling population in America who is in disbelief of this fact. The idea that racism is something that can or will be overcome is ludicrous. There will always be someone some where who religiously holds to the belief in the inherent power of melanin.
You snowflakes have yet to fully explain how acknowledging American racism is devisive. Do you need a safe space from the truth? A safe space in which to engage in bigotry without being called out on it? Please clarify.
America has not overcome racism and it probably never will... same for the ENTIRE WORLD... the degree of racism is decreasing over time but you can't get rid of problem that is as inherent as having a brain... Those who claim to not be racist are the biggest racist there are... there is no denying that everyone has degrees of racism but to claim they are not is a denial of truth and the inability to fix their own racism... often times, people "think" a certain way that is inherently racist but because they view themselves as not being racist serves only makes to make that view even more racist cause they arrogant and ignorant to these basic truth that what say/did was racist...
