You have to have a decent sized ego to be a successful businessman. Given Trump's success (his successes outweigh his failures - successful businessmen are not afraid to fail and often do) it is more the evident that he is a keen negotiator, effective communicator, and likable person.
hate him all you want but to make negative assumptions about his prowess in terms of human interaction and global relations is foolhardy.

Donald Trump's ego carries far beyond a TV/Stage persona and even beyond that of a 'professional' business person.
How does anyone know this about Trump and his ego? Just know that a person is making an assumption only when they state something they haven't heard come from the person themselves. (like you did me) All anyone has to do (and many have) is listen to him speak. His condescension towards African-American communities, disrespect of women and dehumanization of Mexicans and Muslims he talks about it as if it is nothing. Could be this is America's new norm?
Back in the 60's John Lennon said, that if Christ came the same day the Beatles were in concert, most every one would flock to the concert rather than see Jesus. He was speaking to the Beatles popularity.
Trump said during his campaign, 'I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue NYC and still not loose any voters'. After John Lennon said what he did, the Beatles became less popular. Yet, Donald Trumps semantics made him, more popular?
This isn't just about Donald Trump as President, it is also about the changes in the American society. What they did then and what they do now, that's different.
So again the question becomes, is it going to be hard for other countries world leaders to say, President Trump, where integrity and respect matter?
