Cool to see how much red has been gained since 2008. Look at how much Wisconsin has changed. Almost all the counties were blue, now its the opposite. Same with Iowa.
The state of Washington(my state) has more counties voting red even though Seattle and the surrounding area continues to control the voting. Now more than ever are the blue counties becoming more condensed into one area.
Notice how packed the Cal coast has become? They should move 3M of their socialists to red states and then they'll own the EC.
Republicans barely vote here anymore... yet they still caught people ballot stuffing for Hillary as if they even need to. I guess than damn common core math confused them.
What a sea of red in 2016......just a few pockets of blue.
What amazes me, being from New England, is that even this area of the country isn't blue anymore. It was entirely blue in 2008. Now it's purple in Maine and New Hampshire, and heading that way in CT. RI and Vermont are puny in size and population, and remain blue. Massachusetts?? Well, there's no hope for little Massachusetts....lol
Trump is a much different type of politician than what Republicans have put out for decades. If republicans would have put out another globalist bible thumper they wouldn't have won.
Out of the ordinary for Iowa as well. In the past, the eastern half tended to be democratic and western half leaning more republican. But I still see Iowa continuing to be a swing state.
I voted McCain in 2008, Obama in 2012 and Trump in 2016. Bet there aren't TOO many people who can say that!
