Don't worry, the electoral college hasn't worked as it was supposed to in our lifetime. I doubt it will suddenly become functional. The only real interest I have is seeing how many electoral voters jump ship. It won't be enough, but maybe it will send a message.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing them fail to vote him in. It means the Senate would have to take ownership of their candidate by voting him in. And thats what would happen. I would LOVE that. Because it would link Trump and the Republican party for decades.
