So how long before Trump gets the United States into a war or conflict?

War on snowflakes? It's already on. Poor snowflakes. At least it's cold and they won't melt for a while...

To be honest, I don't believe Trump will do that.

I believe the US will defend itself, if necessary, but we will not start a war or conflict.

For starters, Trump is a lot more likely to get along with Russia than Hillary was. Feel free to read into that whatever you like, but the important point is Trump = no war with Russia.

Trump is likely to play friendly with Russia and less friendly with China in attempt to drive a wedge between these two sort-of allies and sort-of enemies of the USA. So he'll play them off against each other rather than confronting either of them directly.

His rhetoric would seem to indicate that he is a lot less hawkish than any POTUS ... possibly since before the Cold War. We'll see if/how that translates into reality.

If you count destroying ISIS, I think Trump will do that fairly soon after he's sworn into office.

No need to waste any time on that.

Trump is building a case now to start a war in the Middle East. All we need is another terrorist act for Trump to go on his so-called Radical Islamic rant.

I think he talks a big game, but in reality, he'll shy away from involving the United States.

All that "Take their oil" was just talk.

Militarily speaking: they are called frienamies (friendly enemies)

We are far less to get into a war with DJT as President.
