You're generalizing on the ACA. It was meant to try to give everyone ACCESS to healthcare. Affordable it's not. And if he'd never passed anything, you'd still be paying out the wazoo for health insurance, IF you had it. Thanks to it, both my adult children have health insurance and they would not have prior to it. But, you are correct, it's not affordable. But it wasn't going to be anymore. That trajectory was always going up.

Trump didn't work much with Carrier. That was publicity for him. Pence did the most work and what Carrier got was corporate welfare and a bonus to keep SOME of their jobs here. They didn't keep the whole company here. Shameful is what it is although I'm happy for the 800 people that got to keep their jobs.

But you just keep believin' in those media headlines...it's a pretty, blue world there!!!
Bush announces $17.4 billion auto bailout

You've been distorted by liberal media. How did Obama bailed out the auto industry when he was opposed to it as a senator. I suggest you stop reading HuffPo, MSNBC. Too much misinformation and lack of factual reporting.

I personally disapprove of Auto bail out because GM is suppose to fail. The workers will become Toyota + Honda workers. Our taxes went to TARP and people died driving GM's failing cars.

Ha! Who do you think you elected?

The only reason Trump wants to be president is so that he can stand in front of crowds and be cheered. If you're hoping for hard work from Trump, you're gonna be disappointed.

Totally agree. Given the tragedy of Trump being elected, he should just take the oath and skip the inauguration.

No, I'd rather see corporations being treated like the 'people' the SCOTUS says they are and paying their own way? Why should taxpayers be forced to support them? I'm damn tired of the whiney righties who run screaming SOCIALISM! in terror at the mere mention of doing something for an individual American yet would happily hand a blank government check to corporations.

I'm really concerned about the moment "he goes to work". In the past it was about him. Today his decisions will affect not only himself, but the entire nation. The damage will be unimagined.

Uh, no. Just no. I don't read HuffPo or MSNBC.

Bush did the first of a case infusion in 2008. Obama administration came in during 2009 and did the largest "rescue" with funds and a method of repayment. We can say that it was a joint adminstration save that spanned two administrations. So what? Don't say the Obama administration did nothing to save jobs/industry. The auto industry save is much bigger/better than the measly Carrier save. Will the taxpayers get the funding back that we are are giving in symbolic "food stamps" to Carrier. Nope.

It's a mystery to e why they do not see him for what he is, must come down to seeing what one wants to see. I hope he actually turns out to be a good President but my gut tells me that we and many of his supporters may learn another one of those hard lessons in life. Then was not going to turn out well for the Nation in My Opinion no matter which of the Big 2 won, in my opinion neither was fit to sit in the most powerful office on the planet, so this is the one I/We got stuck with and what we have to live with for now. My game plan is to continue down the same path I have for years, hope for the best, prepare for the worst, that is within my control.

What the real mystery is , is how democrats can blindly follow the same failed policies that's continually losing them hundreds of seats all over the country . Extremely low information or just plain stupid , which is it ?
