It won't take Trump that long to return to us to a recession like the one Obama inherited.

Bad news: We're stuck with him for at least 4 years, and possibly 8. He's not getting impeached.

More like no enthusiasm in my opinion. I kept imagining Kaine succeeding Clinton if something happened to her, like impeachment and conviction for all the email and Clinton Foundation allegations.

I too live in a state where the other side has the vast majority and my vote never counts. Actually there are occasions when I vote with the majority. I'm not a party line voter. I vote for who I think will be best. But I vote anyway even when I know I'm voting against the rest of the voters in my state.

If nothing else, you have no right to complain if you don't like the winning candidate if you didn't even vote. IMO

As long as he don't do any blatant offenses under the Republican led Senate, yes. The problem is I don't Trump as much as I can pick him up and toss his hypocritical butt, let alone see him...

The relevant question is, how long will the bottom third of Americans (rent serfs) continue to suck up declines in their standard of living..
The only thing that will solve those problems is economic prosperity. I'm willing to let Trump have the chance to see if he can bring it about.

Hey, it's 4 years until the next presidential election. He'll win if he succeeded, lose if it was all hot air.

8 years and by the end the vast majority of America will be sorry to see him go.

Finally! A realist! And wonder of all wonders, we can't discount the possibility that Trump might succeed.

Maybe the primaries and the election was sort of like Muhammad Ali before a fight, all of his posturing and braggadocio. Let's see what happens when Trump finally has to get in the ring and duke it out.

Default How long will the Trump presidency last?

Four to eight years, the Liberals will never recover.

The liberal/progressive/globalists will have to change their platform if they expect to recover. Crying and blaming everything but themselves is delusional.

I fully expect they will not accept blame, will continue their present course, and will have to accept another defeat in 2018 and perhaps 2020 before they start changing to appeal to more voters.

If Trump is a big success in the next 4 years then I'd call him unbeatable in 2020.

Pew polling has show while just 1% of DT voters might vote differently now, 4% HRC voters feel that way about her.

The Clintonistas are doing long-term harm to their party.
