Numerous American leaders over the decades have expressed their perception that Israel and the USA have a “special relationship,” that Israel’s enemies are America’s enemies, and that American aid to Israel is money well spent.

Most recently, these sentiments were articulated by House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid, Vice President Joe Biden, and President Barack Obama. They continue to be in favor of the continued American financial support for Israel.

In the field of military intelligence Israel is arguably the world's leading expert in collecting intelligence on terrorist groups and in counter-terrorism. It provides intelligence and know-how to the U.S. According to Maj. Gen. George J. Keegan Jr., former head of U.S. Air Force intelligence, America's military defense capability "owes more to the Israeli intelligence input than it does to any single source of intelligence," the worth of which input, he estimated, exceeds "five CIAs.

Having a special relationship does not equate to being able to do Stupid things. Nice try but one has nothing to do with the other.

Israeli and American intelligence agencies continuously exchange information, analyses, and operational experience in counterterrorism and counter-proliferation.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and its Israeli counterpart share technical know-how in defending against terrorist attacks, countering unconventional weapons and cyber-threats, and combating the drug trade.

Then Israel would be accused of genocide against Palestinian Arabs. There would be no contest. BTW, Palestine is not nor has ever been a country. It's always just been a region on the map. People calling themselves Palestinians were previously citizens of other Arab countries.

The American Government doesn't represent the American people. IMO.

Chanting "Death to America! Death to Israel!" has been the way Iranians applaud for over a quarter-century. They view Israel as little Satan and the U.S. as Great Satan.

Iranian attitudes toward the U.S (Great Satan) and to Israel (Little Satan) are different because we are more powerful. They'll go after Israel first. Then we lose intelligence, Israeli and American intelligence agencies continuously exchange information, and analyses in counterterrorism. The U.S. Dept of Homeland Security and its Israeli counterpart share technical know-how in defending against terrorist attacks, countering unconventional weapons and cyber-threats, and combating the drug trade.

Without intelligence we become weaker.

I'm a Trump supporter, but class? Not so sure about that.

The Gaza experience proves that "land for peace" doesn't work.
Yes, in fact that turn-over of control of Gaza, just gave the terrorists more enthusiasm. On the very day it was invoked, rockets were fired on Israel in greater number. If you give in to bullying and make concessions, you will not gain any peace------it just encourages the bullies. The same thing happened when Neville Chamberlain entered into "appeasement" agreements with the Nazis.
