BTW, if you ever get a chance to go to the Paris Air Show, don't miss it.
I went years ago and the Israeli fighter pilots were by far the best flyers there. They were flying inverted, wing tip to wing tip. Took your breath away.
Later, when we went through the Israeli pavilion, the pilots all looked about 18 years old.
Thanks I will do that God willing. They have some very talented, good people there.
So what? If such settlement is illegal under international law, those Jews living there have only their Government to blame for allowing them to be in that position.
But it is pettiness like this that makes peace unacheivable. One has to seriously consider ulterior motives behind not accepting the peace agreement. This is why Israelis took a hard right turn. Because after this, they believed the Palestinians would not accept anything less than the entire state of Israel.
I don't know how people say this when Obama took the position of the plurality of Jews in both Israel and America. Further the *entire security council* agreed.
Settlements are illegal, they are wrong, and you (far-right Israel Lobby and Far-right Israelis) have been publically condemned by the world. Face it.

Just an excuse to justify demolishing homes of Palestinian families and taking over their land.
So what? They get free US military industrial complex goods...paid for by US taxpayers.
Money that goes to US companies who pay US taxpayers.

Further note how the primary aid recipients after Israel are Jordan and Egypt..two very friendly regimes to Israel. We are helping ensure that those countries maintain control over their populations and do not pose security threats to Israel. They are also both dictatorships.
Friendly? Not really. But together they get $3 Billion yearly paid for by US taxpayers, but not required to spend it in the US.

So in essence we pay Israel directly, and we pay two thugs in Jordan and Egypt to act as prison wardens to keep their people in line, and to pose no threat to Israel.
Thugs? Nope. I wouldn't travel to Egypt currently but I'm in Jordan pretty often and have seen no problems there.
Are there any serious Palestinian fraction that agreed to abolish the Ḥaqq al awda (right or return)?
PDXNative2Houston,
I'm still waiting for an answer.
