You've had eight years of Obama practicing his version of "trickle down" and the wealth gap is larger than ever. Where have you criticized him and his dem co-conspirators?

not hardly in practice.
We still have contaminated water and soil (often the culprit is guv itself), bailouts to banks and Wall Street, national parks that get closed when the fed guv wants to punish us for not tithing enough of our wealth to it.. So many failures so little bandwith.

Agree many conservatives are anything but, and again I'll say you embrace the biggest robber baron in the history of the world, the US fed guv., thus leaving you no high ground from which to preach.

Conservatives (not sure why they are called this as they don't want to conserve anything, really) want minimal government interference in the robber barons' schemes.

Yet they want BIG Government to control every aspect of a person's private life they don't agree with.

This only lists federal income tax rate. There are other taxes as well.

Also, it should be noted that many wealthy and profitable corporations pay no federal taxes at all.

27 giant profitable companies paid no taxes

And, strangely enough, many wealthy people use dubious methods to avoid paying any federal taxes as well.

And, strangely enough, many wealthy people, some who brag about being billionaires , pay no federal taxes either.
Perhaps the IRS should have addressed that as opposed to attacking them for their speech?

The IRS doesn't write the tax code.

It's not illegal to minimize how much you pay in taxes, but the IRS isn't the one writing the rules Congress is.

There were no regulations or laws that allowed them to do what they did.

Here's who benefited from the QE programs...

1) Anyone who has any kind of pension plan or retirement account. $27 Trillion is invested in pension/retirement accounts.

2) The tens of thousands of people who are at least 5 years late on their mortgage payments and will consequently get their homes for free, as the statute of limitations has expired. The Federal Reserve created $2 Trillion in QE to bail out the delinquent homeowners and the GSEs which had to pay those who invested in their MBS.

I said "not much."

Why can't we just have a flat tax? Higher income earners would still be WAY overpaying for what they get even with a flat tax.

yes and the uninformed appear to have a near masochistic attitude to the wealthy

i cant think of any other country where the poor ( ish ) demand they take a hit so the wealthy dont have to but its the only rational explanation as to why anyone earning an average wage would vote GOP
