Not our country and none of our business. The outrage from some is a bit hypocritical given our alliance with Nations who do the exact same thing. Is it only ok when our allies do this exact same thing?
If we were the same way, half the population would be in jail. Things could be moving in that direction considering the fact, that Trump reacts publicly to every criticism and seems to admire the way Putin and Duterte handle things.

The OP is about a person being jailed for insulting Putin on Facebook. You deflect by saying "but but but Obama!" and throw out accusations about Obama spying and persecuting whistle blowers.
My question to you was simple. Has Obama ever jailed anyone for insulting him?
The answer, obviously, is "no." But you're so blinded by your inexplicable devotion to Trump that because Trump sucks up to Putin, you're willing to overlook Putin's blatant violations of human and civil rights.
Point of fact, Kazakhstan is not a NATO member, however, it does participate in NATO's Partnership for Peace program. Take a look at the link, a lot of non-NATO nations participate in the program.
It is not Russia, hasn't been part of Russia since 1991. Buzzfeed, really? It's silly. Nothing they publish has any relation with truth.
